Junior Art Comes to Ferry Park
Ferry Park Gallery, Maclean is proudly continuing the promotion of junior and youth art in the region by encouraging primary and secondary students to participate in on-going displays of their art at the gallery. This invitation to students offers them opportunities to develop their artistic talents, improve presentation skills and gain valuable experience from exhibiting and selling their artwork in a successful and reputable gallery.
The first display commenced in September 2017 with a group of very enthusiastic young artists creating a buzz in the gallery as they proudly submitted their creative endeavors for viewing and for sale. We are now in our 4th display period and proudly announce that sales have been regular and encouraging.
The allocated free-standing display column has space for approximately 16 paintings/photographic artworks and visitors to the gallery have greatly admired and appreciated the quality of artwork.
Artists must be willing to display their artwork for sale (no commission to be paid)
· Displays will operate on a rotational basis, each display running for 4 – 6 weeks
· Work must be ready for hanging, either framed or on stretched canvas
· The artist’s name, title of painting or photograph and price must be clearly displayed on the back of the artwork.
Ferry Park Gallery welcomes all junior and youth artists interested in participating in future displays to contact Bev for details: info@ferrypark.org
